DAWSON LEERY

Dawson Leery is a fifteen year old film maker in the making. His role model is none other than one of the best directors every, Steven Spielberg. Dawson lives in Capeside and also attends Capeside Highschool. His best friend is Joey (short for Josephine) and they have known each other for years. Things start to change though when it's time for high school. Joey doesn't think they can act the same way with each other that they used to. Dawson is out to prove that is not true. In the mean time Jen has came to live with her grandparents from New York. Dawson immediately falls for her and Joey develops a sort of jealousy against her. Dawson's other best friend Pacey isn't the best person to hang out with either. He and Joey can't get along, and Pacey is persuing to date his Language Arts teacher, Tamara, who he believes flirted with him at the video store. Dawson is an inspiring young film student, and is doing everything he can to get into Mr. Gold's Film Class, even though he was denied entry. He is also making his own film, directed by him and starring Jen, Joey, and Pacey. His storybook life does have one flaw though, his mother is having an affair with her co-anchor, Bob. "Back to You Bob". A perfect life? Perhaps Not.
